From July 26th to 27th, 2024, the first National Excellent College Students Summer Camp was successfully held in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences of Harbin Engineering University. Twenty outstanding college students from all over the country participated in the camp. The campers spent a rich and fulfilling summer camp life by attending the opening ceremony, expert lectures, talks and exchanges, seminars and exchanges, campus visits, and comprehensive interviews and assessments.

On the morning of July 26, the opening ceremony of the summer camp was held in Room 311 of the Main Building. Yang Guoqing, vice dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Liu Jun, head of the grassroots academic organization of Sociology, Liu Moru, head of the grassroots academic organization of Law, Yang Lixi, head of the grassroots academic organization of Applied Psychology, Wu Ji, head of the grassroots academic organization of Social Work, and staff members of the Academic Affairs Office attended the opening ceremony. Vice Dean Yang Guoqing presided over the opening ceremony.
